Finally cleaned this up enough to push it to GitHub. Microstat - A self-hosted Micropub endpoint for statically-generated microblogs. 📝⚡️Post to your static microblog with Quill! https://github.com/joshdick/microstat
@rosemaryorchard Thanks for the reminder that micro.blog supports crossposting! I somehow never got around to enabling it before now, but now posts to my self-hosted microblog will also show up on micro.blog, Twitter, and Mastodon. Awesome!
Because I apparently can't listen to enough actual-play RPG podcasts, just started listening to Not Another D&D Podcast. Has an "early Adventure Zone"-type goofy vibe so far.
I love Bill Wurtz's music so much. It puts me in a good mood every time I listen, even if many of his lyrics aren't quite meant to do that.

Thought experiment: A social network that segregates users by moving weighted average of the sentiment of what they say (automated or user-voted.) Repeat trolls are stuck only being able to lash out at each other and can't contact or appear in timelines of higher-sentiment users.

@aaronpk Nice to meet you at #devconf! I already understand micro.blog’s Webmention model better than I did when I first wrote this, but if you’re curious where I started: http://micro.blog/jd/803408 and my current question about “re-mentions” that we discussed in person: https://micro.blog/jd/806147 I know these are both specific to micro.blog but I’m very interested in how Webmentions can gel well wtih centralized services like micro.blog in general.
